Christopher P. Brady, MA in Intercultural Management and Development Administration at the School for International Training, has over 30 years experience in international development, primarily in Africa and Latin America. He has worked on long-term postings in Mexico, Honduras and Mozambique, as well on shorter contracts for eight years as an independent consultant in the areas of project assessment, project design and monitoring and evaluation in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
In 1999 he co-founded the Rio Beni Health Project in Bolivia (now a Bolivian Foundation), which provides outreach clinical services, health education and training for community health workers and potable water initiatives, primarily bio-sand filters. He works part-time in Bolivia alongside local staff and indigenous communities in the northwest upper-Amazon rainforest region, and has recently founded a small non-profit organization in California to co-manage the work with staff of the Rio Beni Health Foundation.
